A very scarce map in beautiful original color, with primary emphasis on Florida, Cuba and the Bahamas. It was first published separately, then as part of a grand six-sheet map depicting the theater of The War of Jenkins' Ear, in which England and Spain struggled for control of the Caribbean. Detailed insets of three key port cities: St. Augustine, Havana and Santo Domingo. Routes of the Spanish treasure galleons are shown, and tiny red cathedrals and churches mark those key locations. The map is in Latin, Dutch, French and English! Wide margins.
